Whenever you send or receive bitcoins to or from your Cancoin wallet, a record of the transaction is kept on the 'Your Wallet' page, as well as on the blockchain. Beside the transaction amount and hash, there is a record for number of confirmations for that transaction. A transaction confirmation represents how many times that particular transaction has been confirmed in the de-centralized bitcoin blockchain.

As a rule, a transaction will be considered 'unconfirmed' until it has been confirmed in the blockchain at least once, and the amount of which will not be included in your wallet balance. Once the transaction has been confirmed once in the blockchain, the difference will appear in your wallet balance.
