HD (BIP-32) protocol

Shawn Butchart

BIP-32 is a Bitcoin Protocol where multiple addresses for a Bitcoin are derived from a single seed. Also referred to as a HD wallet (hierarchical deterministic).

Cancoin Wallets use BIP-32 (BIP-44 Ready) for enhanced security and integration. It allows for the rotation of your public key, making it very difficult for people to follow your transaction history on the public blockchain. It also allows us to integrate features and interface into other BIP-44 ready applications and services.
